The men's golf team played thier final match for the fall season in the Milwauke School of Engineering (MSOE) Invitational at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI this past Sunday and Monday October 3-4, 2021
And it turned out to be another great outing for Junior Austin Gaby
Austin had a record setting personal score as well as a school record the week before at the Twin Cities Classic with a 7 under par 65.
Starting out on Sunday on the Highlands course he would shoot a 75 on the par 71 course and would post up in 10th position.
The Stout team would settle in at days end with a 310 for 5th place.
Monday would be moving day for Austin Gaby and the UW Stout team
The team would start out over on the Brute course
White tees playing out at 6544 yards for a par 72 course.
Austin Gaby would start out a little sluggish with a bogey, par for the first 2 holes (He Started on the 17th tee)
Making the turn onto the first hole on the Brute course he would make birdie and would follow it up with a bogey on the par 5 hole number 2 - from there he would par the next 4 holes.
Starting with hole # 7, he would make birdie, par, birdie to finish up the front 9 with a 2 under par 34
Moving back onto the back nine, he would make birdies on 10 and 11, make par on the 12th hole and would finish the next 4 holes with birdie, bogey, birdie and par
He would finish the back nine with a 34 as well, putting his second day score of 68
That 68 would put him tied for first place with UW Parkside's Danny Sanicki
The UW Stout team would jump up 2 positions and ends up in 3rd place in the 17 team meet.
Hunter Neiman tied for 20th
Dalton Anderson tied for 23rd
Connor Nelson and Sam Klobucar tied for 39th
